“The teachers are amazing and do a lot of practice exercises to teach all the children how to use the features of the computer. I was shocked just how fast my children caught on. Within the first week it was like they had been on computers all their lives.
That first day when the kids got off their first class was when we realized the freedom of virtual school. You can have school virtually anytime, anywhere. They even can do their classes in my car going to pick up lunch. It was interesting to see how much the children learn from each other. Their classes are filled with such interesting discussions just from the children's conversations with each other.”

When I decided it was most prudent for us to choose virtual school last Fall, I wanted to stay in the familiar Catholic school domain. But, at the last minute, we found out there was no such local Catholic option.... Suddenly I was frantic to find something and had little time. We researched and soon found out that Catholic Academy had been around for a while, and as such, they had perfected the virtual learning experience. So, we gave it a try.
In spite of Ethel missing her classmates, she did gain new (virtual) classmates and friends from across the country. She also enjoyed some of the most caring, experienced, and attentive virtual Catholic teachers from across the United States.
Catholic Academy has a rigorous curriculum for very bright kids, and Ethel managed to make straight A’s (in spite of having to adapt to many changes). We are truly grateful for the blessings poured out in the experience of this school year. Thanks to God and His Angels who guided us. 😇
