Academics
At Catholic Virtual, Catholic identity is woven throughout every aspect of the school’s online learning experience so students are not only academically prepared but also spiritually enriched.
Educational Philosophy
At Catholic Virtual, we are grounded in the belief that every student is a unique child of God, created with purpose and potential. We are committed to meeting each student where they are—academically, emotionally, and spiritually—recognizing that personalized support is essential to their growth and success.
Through a flexible, student-centered learning environment, every learner is empowered to reach their potential. Whether a student is seeking accelerated opportunities, needs additional academic support, or simply thrives outside of a traditional classroom, Catholic Virtual provides the tools and guidance needed for each student to flourish.
Our approach combines academic excellence with Catholic formation, cultivating both intellect and character. Within the comforts of home, students are invited to build confidence, develop critical thinking skills, grow in faith, and pursue their God-given talents. We believe that with the right support, encouragement, and values-based education, every student can succeed.
Flexibility
Learning Models
At Catholic Virtual, we believe that one size does not fit all—especially when it comes to learning. That’s why we offer flexible, mix-and-match learning models, allowing students to choose the approach that works best for them in each subject. This personalized learning experience ensures students receive the right level of support for their individual success. Every model includes a dedicated teacher who provides grading, feedback, and academic support. Some models also offer live instruction, giving students the opportunity to participate in group sessions or receive one-on-one guidance. With this level of flexibility and care, students are empowered to thrive.

Graduating with Catholic Virtual
Full-time students at Catholic Virtual are eligible to earn a high school diploma upon successfully meeting all graduation requirements. As part of the admissions process, we review each student’s academic records to determine appropriate course placement and to develop a personalized academic plan. This plan is tailored to each student’s academic track and post-secondary goals.
Students transferring into Catholic Virtual must complete at least 25% of their graduation credits through our program in order to receive a Catholic Virtual diploma. In addition, students must meet minimum credit requirements.

Academic Counseling
At Catholic Virtual, academic success is a journey we take together. From the moment a student joins our community, they are supported by a dedicated School Counselor who provides personalized academic advising. We closely monitor each student’s progress, pacing, and performance to ensure they stay on track and thrive in their courses.
To keep families informed and engaged, we send weekly progress reports that offer clear, up-to-date insights into student achievement across all subjects. With proactive support and open communication, we help every student reach their full potential.
